More Photos From Bullard's Bar

Arlo sent me his pics from the trip so I'm posting them up.

This was taken somewhere on the road, probably Flag City when we stopped for fuel and propane.

Minutes after we arrive in camp. Tent going up.

Somebody flipping the bird while helping put the tent up. I can't tell who that is, maybe me.

Amy grabbed the instructions to the main tent and started reading them off, while Laura looked on.

Instructions? We ain't need no damn instructions! The guys prove their survival skills by setting up the tent - independantly of instructions.

This is what you get when you mix Crystal, 5000 mosquitos and like, 2 hours of sleep. Doesn't she look thrilled?

Somebody noticed a sun halo that morning. I thought sailors or old forecasters used to say it meant something, but I forget now.

Me, waiting at the dock with the boat, while people parked and carried gear down. At this point, the boat was idling sorta choppy, but ran like a violated ape once you gave it the gas.

Well, it made for an interesting day anyways. Back at camp after successfully retrieving the people and gear from the other side of the lake. I'm cracking the engine open to troubleshoot while Noah looks on, the rest are relaxing.

Checking the fuel pump to be sure - everything was in order.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I decided that I'd burn some gas anyways, without the engine! That was fun... The dude in the background wasn't even from our camp - it was some guy from the next camp over that Sean made friends with. Hah.

Fire is cool.

Dinnertime in camp. Crystal prepares meat while clancy roasts shish-kebobs over the fire.

All of us standing around, getting ready for a group picture.

Darrell and I take another shot at troubleshooting the engine.

Hey, now if it were only the other way around...

Awwwzz yeah!

Everybody chillin' like individual G entities with their respective sicknesses. Biotch.

OMG, that's the hottest thing I've ever seen!

Brian jumps on the tard-mode bandwagon, too.

Emerald Cove - awesome. We decided to stop here on the way out, looking for a place to swim. No beaches of any form, so we decided to move on to Collin's lake. I'm not sure I enjoy the idea of swimming next to a MASSIVE turbine intake on the dam, anyways.

Another shot of the cove.

The group sitting on the shore of Collins Lake.

Sparky and I swimming back from the other side of the lake. Amber is nearby on the tube. Why is it that every group of pictures we take on Arlo's camera have somebody flipping the camera off? It's a trademark now.

That's all for now.

Yeah maybe I can just come burn a CD of them or something. 100 MB will take forever over email. Another alternative is zipping it into one huge file and sending it over file transfer on AIM.
